The value for money at this hotel is exceptional. The prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get. Additionally, the attention to detail in the rooms and basic amenities is impressive. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, with pleasant views and a serene atmosphere. It also serves as a great base to explore the local area and other nearby attractions. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, making sure that guests have everything they need. The rooms themselves front onto a central pond, which adds to the peaceful ambiance. this hotel offers great value for money and a truly enjoyable stay.

All aspects of this hotel were perfectly fine.

The view over the lakes was spectacular. Lovely to seat outside in the morning, having breakfast and watching all the animals in the lake.

The office area/reception was very dirty. Staff were smoking and drinking in the office and the dog there added to the smell.

We felt so convenient and homely as if we had been at our own summer cottage. We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed watching birds while having breakfast on the terrace.

The serene environment at hervey bay was relaxing. Waking up in the morning in front of the lake was beautiful. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is a true island of calmness and nature. Its location at a beautiful serene lake, surrounded by wildlife galore, makes it a perfect retreat. You can sit on the balcony and watch the ducks, turtles, and a variety of birds all day long. The rooms are equipped with enough kitchen facilities for preparing meals and enjoying them with a view. The staff is friendly and the basic amenities are provided, including breakfast.

The staff here are friendly, the views of the lake are beautiful, the property is well-kept, and the restaurant by the beach serves delicious food, making for a relaxing stay.

It was very quiet and peaceful, close to the beach, shops and cafes.

My recent stay at Sanctuary Lakes Fauna Retreat was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect for a peaceful escape, with stunning views of the private lake and an easy walk to the beach. The self-contained cabin was comfortable and clean, with a private balcony overlooking the serene lake. The birdlife and turtles added to the natural beauty of the surroundings. Despite the basic amenities, the tranquility of the retreat made up for it. The hosts were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. I highly recommend this retreat for nature lovers seeking a quiet getaway.
